Why this service

A focused way to handle UAE toll balances, without the friction

Most drivers in the UAE only need a quick top-up — not another login, not another app. Plate Manage keeps the flow to a short three-step wizard, in AED, with a clean review screen before any card is charged.

Two-minute flow

Plate details, AED amount, review. No registration, no multi-page wizard with twelve fields.

UAE-wide coverage

Plates from all seven emirates — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah — with the right category list for each.

AED, card-only

Billed in dirhams. No wallets, no crypto, no surprise FX margin — what you pick is what you pay.

No data hoarding

Plate and mobile go straight to the processor. Card data is entered on a separate payments domain and is not stored on this site.

Bilingual

Full English and Arabic interface — not a half-translation, not just an RTL toggle. Headings, hints and errors are localised.

Plain pricing

You pick the amount — AED 50, 100, 150, 200 or a custom value between AED 5 and AED 500. The full sum is shown before you confirm.

  2. II.

    Choose the AED amount

Tap one of the preset chips — AED 50, 100, 150 or 200 — or type a custom value between 5 and 500. The selected chip is filled and the total is shown in the review block underneath.

  3. III.

    Review and pay

A summary card shows the plate, the contact and the AED total. Confirm and the wizard hands you over to a dedicated payments domain for the card form. Once the card succeeds you return to a clean receipt page.

What you can top up

Where you can recharge plate number balances

Three common situations covered by the same wizard — Dubai tolls, post-paid plate balances elsewhere in the UAE, and quick top-ups when the balance runs low mid-trip.

Dubai toll gates

For drivers whose plate is linked to a Dubai road-toll account. The wizard prefills the emirate, lets you choose the category and accepts the plate code when one applies.

Cross-emirate trips

If your plate is registered in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah and you travel through Dubai often, a single top-up keeps the post-paid balance positive.

Mid-trip top-up

When the balance is below the threshold, you can top up from any phone — the form is mobile-first and the AED amount is locked before the card form opens.

Independent service.

Plate Manage is a third-party online top-up service. We are not a government authority, not a road or transport authority, and not a bank. Plate, emirate and mobile data are used only to forward the top-up to the underlying toll account.

FAQ

Most-asked questions about the recharge

Six common questions below — the full list of ten lives on the dedicated FAQ page.

How do I top up a UAE plate balance through this site?

Open the recharge page, pick your emirate and category, enter the plate code (if it applies) and the plate number. Choose an AED amount, review the summary and confirm online from the payments page. The whole process is three short stages.

How long does the top-up take to appear on the toll account?

In normal conditions the balance update is reflected within a few minutes once the card payment clears. During heavy traffic on the upstream toll system it can take up to a couple of hours.

Which payment methods are accepted?

The payments page accepts the cards commonly used in the UAE, billed in AED. If yours is not supported, you will see a clear message before any charge. Wallets, prepaid vouchers and crypto are not accepted.

What are the limits per top-up?

The presets are AED 50, 100, 150 and 200. The custom field accepts any whole AED amount between 5 and 500 per transaction. There is no daily cap on this site — the toll account itself may apply its own cap.

What if the payment fails or the balance doesn't appear?

First, check the email receipt — it contains the reference. If the amount was debited but the balance is unchanged after two hours, reply to that email or write to support@platemanage.net with the reference and the plate. We retrace the top-up with the processor.

Is it safe to enter card details?

The card form is hosted on a separate payments subdomain over TLS, and it is the only page on this property that asks for a card. The recharge wizard never asks for your CVV or full card number.
