Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Plate Manage, the independent online top-up service for UAE road toll accounts operated by Plate Manage FZ-LLC. Read them in full before you submit a recharge.

1. About these terms

“Plate Manage”, “we” and “us” mean Plate Manage FZ-LLC, a free-zone limited liability company registered in the Emirate of Dubai, with its operating office at 12, 29th Street, Al Quoz Industrial 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “Service” means the website at platemanage.net and any subdomain that we operate, including the payments subdomain.

“You” means a natural or legal person who accesses the Service, whether or not a top-up is completed. By submitting the recharge wizard you agree to these terms and to the linked privacy policy, cookies policy and refund policy.

2. What we do, and what we don't

We provide a third-party online interface to top up balances on UAE road toll accounts that are identified by a vehicle plate. We do not issue plates, we do not operate the road network, we do not run the toll system, and we do not act as a bank. The Service is independent of any UAE government authority, road authority, transport authority or bank.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least 18 years old, you are using the Service for a legitimate top-up linked to a plate that you either own, lease, or have the account holder's permission to top up, and you have the right to use the card with which the recharge is paid. Use of the Service for any other purpose, including testing payment processors, is prohibited.

4. The recharge wizard

The wizard captures the plate (emirate, category, plate code if applicable, plate number), a UAE mobile number, an optional email address, and an AED amount. The amount must be a whole number between AED 5 and AED 500. We may at our discretion impose lower per-day or per-card limits to prevent abuse.

You are responsible for entering the plate accurately. Plate Manage does not verify the plate against any external register before the top-up is dispatched. A wrong plate will route the AED to the wrong account; see the refund policy for the cases that qualify.

5. Payment and pricing

Payments are processed online on a separate payments subdomain. The full AED amount that you selected is shown on the review screen before the card form opens, and is the only amount that is billed by the Service for the underlying recharge. No service fee is added on top.

Your card issuer may charge a foreign-currency conversion fee if your card is denominated in a currency other than AED. That fee is outside the control of Plate Manage and is governed solely by your card issuer's terms.

6. Refunds

Refunds are described in detail in the refund policy. In summary, the Service refunds the AED amount to the original card if the upstream account was not credited, if the amount was charged twice for the same order, or if a wrong-amount or wrong-plate top-up is flagged in writing within 24 hours of the receipt.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to launder money, to test card numbers, to scrape data, to attempt to overload the Service, to circumvent rate limits, or for any other purpose prohibited by UAE law. We may suspend or refuse any order that we reasonably believe to be in breach of this section.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its layout, copy, code, illustrations and the “Plate Manage” brand, is the intellectual property of Plate Manage FZ-LLC unless marked otherwise. You may quote short excerpts of the Service in articles, reviews and forum posts with a link back, but you may not copy the Service or rehost it in part or in whole without our written consent. Third-party names used in this documentation belong to their respective owners and are referenced only to describe the underlying account that the Service tops up.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. We make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, that any specific top-up will clear within a specific time, or that the upstream toll account will be available at the moment you submit a recharge. Where we are at fault — for example, an internal bug that miscredits the wrong account — the refund policy is the agreed remedy.

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Plate Manage's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the AED amount of the disputed recharge.

10. Privacy

The handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy. In short, the Service collects only the minimum needed to dispatch a recharge: plate, mobile, optional email, AED amount and the order reference. Card numbers are not collected by this site — they are entered only on the payments subdomain.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when material aspects of the Service change. The updated version becomes effective on the date at the top of this page, and applies to any recharge submitted after that date. Past recharges remain governed by the version of the terms in force at the time of submission.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, applied as modified by the relevant Dubai free-zone regulations. Disputes that cannot be resolved by writing to support@platemanage.net within thirty days will be referred to the competent UAE courts of the Emirate of Dubai.

13. Contact

Any notice under these terms may be sent to legal@platemanage.net, with a copy to the registered office address above.
